The author, HANK GREENWALD,
February 17, 1999 My story from Syracuse to San Francisco to Sydney
I felt it was important to relate the stories associated with my life
prior to the onset of senility, though I can't remember why. The book
covers my days as a broadcaster with the San Francisco Giants and New York
Yankees. Other topics include raising a daughter with Down Syndrome,
broadcasting in the National Basketball Association, living in Australia,
tracing the footsteps of General Douglas MacArthur through the South
Pacific and the Philippines and my days at Syracuse University where it
all began. A look at my college transcript suggests I've managed to write
a book without ever having read one.
