GENE NELSON
Gene entertained on
the morning show before moving to San Francisco and spending many years at
KYA and KOIT. He is now reportedly retired and living on the
island of Kauai, Hawaii.

DUSTY RHODES 1956-57
Dusty was responsible for the Sandman
Serenade for a few years then moved on to Cincinnati in 1961, starting at
WSAI as nighttime jock '61 to '66. Then on to CKLW mornings for less than
a year before moving back to Cincinnati to do radio sales, and into
elected office as a Township Trustee for 21 years.
In 1968 he became a stockbroker until 1999.
In 1990 he
was elected Hamilton County Auditor, re-elected '94 and '98. For a full

Dusty has been married since '63, and has two sons, one is
Production Director at Q-101 in Chicago, the other a
firefighter-paramedic.
He also produced
Sunday night oldies shows in Cincinnati since the '70s, first on WKRC,
then on WLW from '84 to '91, and since on WGRR, Oldies 103.5. He has also
done national Christmas Eve and Christmas Day music programs on 90
stations coast-to-coast including WGY, WBBF (Rochester) and WABC.
He
was most recently mornings on WSAI until their format change.
